NOA SCHRAVEN
Fashion Designer
I am Noa Schraven, a fashion and design student at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute (AMFI). My journey at AMFI has allowed me to grow and explore my identity and potential within the fashion industry.
My work is driven by a passion for creating textures within garments. Utilizing tools like CLO3D, Blender, and Substance Painter, I have developed a fully digital fashion collection, pushing the boundaries between physical and digital fashion. My recent research focuses on laser engraving and cutting fabric, culminating in a textile collection dedicated to these techniques. The interaction of various printing methods—screen, sublimation, and block printing—with laser cutting and engraving continues to captivate me. Experimentation with shape, silhouette, and textile is a core aspect of my specialization.
In my recent projects, sustainability has become a key focus, and using deadstock or eco-friendly fabrics has been crucial as I strive to work sustainably. Initially, I embraced the freedom to experiment with different materials and textures, and now I aim to apply these techniques and knowledge to sustainable practices.
Join me as I showcase my vision, process, and the evolution of my craft in the dynamic world of fashion.
